Software Intern, Content Engineering at Thomson Reuters Internship:

Are you considering an Internship Program in a Multinational Product company? Then you have a chance to work with Thomson Reuters, Bangalore in the Content Engineering space.  As part of our business unit, we work with legal content coming in a lot of different formats, transforming, enhancing, and delivering them to our customers using Westlaw, Practical Law, and Checkpoint products with the latest technology. We have exciting opportunities in various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, with exposure to programming languages like Java and Python, frameworks like Spring, hibernate, and JPA, and have opportunities to work in the Front-End in Angular 16 and above. You may get an opportunity to work on AI/ML or integrate AI/ML with our pathways. You will be a part of very exciting, diverse, and talented teams that will design, develop, test, and maintain the systems we develop.

You’re a fit for the role of Software Intern if your background includes:

  •  Bachelor of Engineering in any field, preferably Computer Science.
  •  Passionate about learning new technologies and skills.
  •  Being a great team person with a good work ethic.
  •  Passion and ability to build things from scratch and complete them.
  •  Interests in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

About the Role of Thomson Reuters Internship:

In this opportunity as a Software Intern, you will:

  • Apply your programming, data structure, and Object-Oriented programming and design skills using languages like Java, Python, and/or Angular 15+.
  • Write Unit tests, Integration tests, Karma tests, and/or Selenium tests.
  • Remediate risks based on suggestions from application security tools.
  • Work with the team to develop/migrate the Front end to Angular 15+
  • Apply design patterns and anti-patterns.
  • Develop and hone problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to AI/ML based on the projects and positions available.
