Cognizant Online Test

For a total of 61 questions, you will get the time of 240 minutes to solve. And there will be
no negative marking. This section type is mandatory.

This round is used to test your skills on the above-mentioned sections.

The Common Round:

This round is used to test your understanding, knowledge and ability about coding section. This
round is divided into two sections. And the two sections are as follows:

  1. Programming Skills.
  1. Problem Solving Data Structures and Algorithm Capabilities.

Very Important:

  • If you clear (qualify) first round, that is Cognizant online test and
    are
    not able to qualify the common round (above-mentioned round of programming, etc.), then
    you
    are eligible for GenC Interview.
  • If you clear (qualify) first-round (Cognizant online test) as well as
    the
    common round (as mentioned above, the round of programming, etc.) of the
    Cognizant
    Exam,
    then you are eligible for GenC Next Interview.

GenC Interview

This is the second round of the Cognizant Recruitment Process. As mentioned
above, if the applicant clears (qualify) the first round, that is Cognizant online test
and not able to qualify the common round (above-mentioned round of programming, etc.),
then he/she is eligible for this GenC Interview round. Obviously, this round
offers lesser benefits to the applicants. If you clear this round, then you will get placed in
the Cognizant company with the packages of GenC ( mentioned in the later part of the article).

Questions of this GenC Interview Round will be based on the following topics:

GenC Next Interview

This is the third and final round of the Cognizant Recruitment Process. As
mentioned above, if the applicant clears (qualify) the first round (Cognizant online
test
) as well as the common round (as mentioned above, the round of programming,
etc.) of the Cognizant Exam, then you are eligible for GenC Next
Interview.
Obviously, this round offers more benefits to the applicants. If you
clear this round, then you will be placed in the Cognizant company with the higher package of
GenC Next ( mentioned in the latter part of the article).

The interviewer will ask you questions on the following topics in this GenC Next
Interview Round.

Cognizant Roles and Packages

Cognizant is hiring 2021 pass-outs for two roles this year. And those two roles with their
packages are as follows:

  1. GenC:
  • Rs. 4,01,986 per annum (Initial compensation).
  • Rs. 4,50,500 per annum (Post Probation).
  1. GenC Next:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must have more than 60% or CGPA > 6 in aggregate. ( In 10th, 12th, Diploma, UG
    and PG) 

Aggregate can be calculated as follows:

Aggregate% = sum of all subjects marks scored / total no. of subjects (as of last semester result
declared).

  • Applicant must be passout of BE, ME, B.tech, M.tech, BCA, MCA, MS[5yrs]degree students
    belonging to CSE / IT / ECE / EEE / EIE / E&E / Applied Electronics / Computer &
    Technology / Electrical / ETE / ICE / Software Engineering/Mechanical only.
  • Applicants should not have an education gap of more than one or two years.
  • Applicants should be flexible to relocate anywhere in India and ready to work in any
    shift/domain. (Indian Nationality).
  • Applicants must not have standing arrears in current education.

Applicants must carry following things during Cognizant Recruitment Process (especially,
during interview rounds):

1. Resume:

Resume should be of a maximum of 2 pages with high-resolution passport size photographs embedded.
In the passport size photographs, both ears must be visible and the background must be light (
most probably White).

2. Aadhar Card and Passport (front and back page) and PAN Card.

3. All academic mark lists and important certificates for verification.

4. Certification
requirement:

3 to 6 months of Cognizant Internship or Cognizant Recommended Skill Certification.
